The Departamento de Industrias (Department of Industries) is a multidisciplinary department oriented towards the teaching of the fundamentals of chemical technology and the research in industrial chemistry and food science and technology. Postgraduate and PhD courses in the area of Chemical Sciences and Food Technology are taught at the DI, as well as undergraduate courses for the degrees of
- Bachelor of Chemical Sciences
- Bachelor of Food Science and Technology
- Food Engineer
The DI also participates in teaching courses for the Master in Food Technology degree of the UBA, (jointly with the faculties of Agronomy and Pharmacy and Biochemistry), and for the Career of Specialization in Industrial Biotechnology (jointly with the INTI). A large part of the teaching work is carried out by active researchers working on premises in the areas of Food Technology and Industrial Chemistry.
